Vital Diagnostics Launches Plastic ESR Tube

Lincoln, RI, October 14, 2009. Vital Diagnostics announces the availability of the new Excyte Plastic ESR Vacuum Tube for the Excyte line of automated ESR analyzers.

Excyte Plastic Vacuum Tubes allow for direct draw of patient samples, which eliminates additional blood collection tubes and transfer pipettes, and reduces biohazard waste. More importantly, they increase the safety of laboratory personnel by reducing exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Transporting tubes from point of draw to analysis site is made safer. If a tube is dropped, there is no exposure to glass sharps or potential pathogens.
